can someone explain what changes were made for improvement on the 2013 and if any for 2014? i seen maybe cord and water bags are improved. looking at new 13 and 14 and also coupes too. i guess Haartz makes the fabric per Magna when i called them today. magna fits the top. i dont want to buy a headach. my car would be daily driver, live in kansas city. thanks!

these reviews on verts seem more positive. makes me feel a little better to consider a 13 or 14. i would expect some rub marks, and some wear, its canvas. my boat covers are canvas, and nothing is perfect there. i am a little OCD on my cars being clean thoiugh, and i take care of them. but maybe its just a crapsshoot tool. maybe verts just have a few issues with rub, etc that one can just overlook. but leaks one cannot.

Based on my experience with the tan top on my Saturn Sky I had I would say that it would show dirt easier but the black shows rub marks more. My tan top was bad to get black streaks from the rain we get. But if you never drive or leave yours out in the rain it wouldn't be an issue.

how come the back windows on the coupe dont go down, but the vert they do? seems they could configure them to work. with the coupe, the blind spots almost seem as bad as the vert. the back window is def. smaller. but, i could never understand that. but, come to think of it, i guess Mustangs are the same way. they dont havve back window in coupe, but verts they do.

Structural stiffness and extra weight. Cutting out that area they would need to add additional bracing to make up for it and then the extra weight for the window mechanism.

The water bag will get very stiff and could tear easier. But I think if it gets that cold there is a cold temperature cutoff that if it senses the temperature is below freezing the motor will not run. But I wouldn't put the top down when it's that cold in the first place.

I would be concerned if there was a heavy rain and then a deep freeze. You could end up with a big piece of ice sitting in the water bag. I guess as long as you don't try to put the top down it probably wouldn't hurt anything. I drove mine for one winter so far with no issues. If you park in a garage at night it shouldn't be an problem.

is there a way to see these bags easily when looking at the new verts, or are they hidden and have to disasemble the car to see them?

Only way to see them is in the trunk. But in three years of production I haven't heard of any problems from freezing water yet.
