Finally... what more can you say. It is an awesome car. Clyde at Frontier Chevrolet in El Reno is the best salesman I have ever dealt with. Sold at exactly MSRP just as promised, no hidden charges and a tank full of gas. I couldn't be happier.

Hell Ya!

Just recieved my new black SS with inferno interior from Les Stanford in Detroit! The ride from D-Town to Chi-Town was sweet! I am super thrilled with this car, I put my money down 18 months ago! Looking to tint the windows and get my hands on those Black Concept 21" Rims any thoughts?
Also, does anyone know how to change those Halo lights to Orange?

Thanks to Camaro5

The Camaro is everything I dreamed it would be and more. This was the most informed car purchase I have ever made and I love this car. CGM was definitely worth the wait.

Finally uploaded my photos from my phone and digital camera.

The Door sills are not on, being sent to me later. The Defenderworks locking gas cap was not what I thought, hard to install per Diller and it doesn't "fit" right.. kinda disappointed. I could have dealt with that but I'm just gonna get the original door put back cuz it took me too long to open and close it at the gas station. It doesn't latch right, you have to play with it. I DO NOT want to deal with that in the winter.

Too boot, the black bowties never made it to Newmans and I ordered them months back, seriously disappointed with that. I'll order the vinyl black bowtie graphics from someone else.

The first photo is from Camaro Scotty's desk, where you could see my Camaro from his desk window, nice view!

Oh cuz of the 3M Clear bra install, it wasn't waxed, so just to make sure the Clear bra has really had time to cure on, I'll be washing it and waxing it this coming weekend.

The photos-

Picked her up last Friday. I can't believe it's finally here. I would like to thank everyone from the designers to the hard workers at Oshawa that build the best cars in the world. Fbodfather and number3 for bringing us the CTF cars so we could see what we were getting, and my salesman Chi.

Lost:The Jewel Comes Home

Monday afternoon Jeff, our sales manager at H&H Chevy in Omaha, NE, called and I could tell by the tone of his voice that the Car that had spent two weeks in Chicago (or temporarilly rerouted to California) and a week in Kansas City had finally arrived at the Dealership. We both ditched work and hit the interstate, flew into the dealership on two wheels and there she was... All we had hoped for. Thanks GM, she is solid as a rock. Notice the green vehicle in the garage... that is my husband's ride. Well, he wanted green.

Enjoy the pics. 2LT RS Red Jewell #19801 Ordered 10/17/2008 Delivered 7/13/2009 Final Price less than the original estimated MSRP

Notice the change in color according to the sun and lighting. Wow it's awsome.

rmpackers lmeagle
I finally let them have it back to fix a rock chip during transport, and a slight rear bumper wrinkle during off load at the RR yard. H&H Chevrolet in Omaha really gets it! It was done right and on time, and perfectly shiny clean. It's a great day at H&H!!!

Nine months....

Yes, yes, everything you have read is true: it IS worth the wait! I ordered on 10/15/08, and 22751 arrived today!! I've got a bad case of Fbodfather's "permagrin". Kudos, kudos, kudos to EVERYONE involved with the Camaro: the folks at Oshawa, the folks at Renaissance Center, the engineers--EVERYBODY! The car is absolutely amazing. You'll see the "victor" and the "vanquished" in my pics (yeah, cloudy, but no rain!). As you can see, I can't stop rambling or pounding out superlatives, and I should toss another THANKS to the fine folks at John Thornton Chevrolet in Atlanta, selling for MSRP while their neighbors...well, never mind! Go see Greg English at Thornton!

My Baby

I actually took delivery of my car last month June 23, but am just now getting these pictures up. She's a 2SS/RS with the Inferno Orange Interior, body kit and the black 21" rims. I had the dealership paint my stripes on based on the template from the hood and hockey stick stripe package. The pinstriping around the hockey stick makes the stripe slightly thicker than the decal would be. We also added a bit of customization to the cowl hood and the trunk lid with Inferno Orange accents as well as painting the side louvers black and the back of the truck lid black where the bowtie is (ala old big block super sports). You may notice that the rear SS and the side CAMARO letters are missing, we had to order new ones because the adhesive was damaged when they were removed for painting. I love the car and the people from Sun Chevrolet in McMurray, PA (south of Pittsburgh) were great every step of the way. The new car sales manager, Martin Cumba Jr., actually had a lot of input on the final paint scheme and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anybody. They did sell me the car for exactly MSRP too. Overall a great experience and a joy to drive.
The first pics are of the day I picked it up and the last ones are of my car and my dad's 69 Z28 at Oglebay Park in Wheeling, WV.

Noise Question

Here is it 3 weeks ago. 2SS with RS Package. Inferno.

Question for a few of you Camaro Owners. Do you hear that rumbling noise with the driver's window down and no other windows down? Seems to have that rumbling noise unless you have the pass. window cracked a little.

Also, I have the White Ralley Stripe and it comes to an end right before the scoop. I have seen photos of some with the srtipe into the front bumper?? Any ideas how to get that?
