Mike,

Many thanks to you and the entire Oshawa team for taking the time to do this. Having you all be apart of the family from conception to "old age" like some of our camaros is really a treat. The personal touches make us all feel special. Giving back to the community makes it even Better!!

Jason

Congrats Jason, I was excited to see you win this. Mike has done so many cool things for charity and our members, but it just keeps getting better.

Having both GM Detroit and GM Oshawa sign makes this a one of a kind keepsake. Wish the mods could have signed it to.. LOL

Yes it is one of a kind, as it's the only one with that color Camaro along with some of the original crew who worked with me on the very first 5thgen here in Oshawa.

Next year maybe I'll do a Z-28 poster , as it could be one of my last ! And who knows maybe i'll even be down in Texas to see it auctioned off !

He's too young to retire, but the 6th Gen will be built in Lansing MI.

REALLY hope he can make it to the Texas Fest. The rest of Canada is coming.

Thank you HDRDTD!, for those kind words!

I now have my 30yrs of service in at GM and can retire anytime. But I have been involved with the Oshawa Camaro Build Team Group since before production started and worked on the very first VIN # 0001 , the first convertible, first ZL1, along with the COPO's and first 1LE's, and I want to do a bit of work on the Z28! so I've decided to ride it out to the end and work on the very last Oshawa built 5thgen before we hand the torch over to Lansing MI. ( who I'm sure will do a great job with the 6thgen) Then it will be time to hang the work boots up and call it a day!

I'll be saying goodbye sometime between June 2014 and Oct of 2016.

Mike

You could always defect to the US and continue building Camaros. Why stop at the 5th Gen??
