It definitely does help against the scratching! I use the foam cannon and then I use my dads blower to dry it off, it for sure helps to keep the swirls to a minimum

I have called it quits with the carbon fiber project. Though, my pieces turned out okay, it is just way too much work and with school starting soon, I won't have the time to dedicate to this project any longer. BUT I do have some more carbon fiber plans in the future, but I'll be going to G3 Composites when the time does come!

Some good news did come in today! My aggressor 2 bumper should be shipping out this week! so, as soon as my Anvil Spoiler comes in, I'll be dropping the Camaro off at the shop!

finally got my grille installed! I absolutely love it! I decided to take the emblems off, I think it adds a much more aggressive look. Here are some before/after pictures

Yeah! What I did was I just drilled out a hole and placed the LED's into it. The hole was small enough so that when I placed the LED in, it stayed in very well (or at least for now it does). I got the lights from gen5diy, and they are the same LEDs used for the dash ABL mod, so that is why they match up so well. They are a bit dimmer than I thought they would be, but since they turn on at night with my door ABL, i'd rather have them dim, than obnoxiously bright

Here are some pictures of the actual LEDs

Sorry for the crappy photos...but then once I had the LEDs in place, I just tapped into the yellow wire connected to the 4 pack gauges, and grounded the black wire. It was pretty easy

Can't wait to see that bumper on your car! But how the heck does a bumper fit in a box that small.

I was just about to ask the same question.

But can't wait to see the bumper installed. I'm sure it's going to look great

Thanks guys! The bumper was folded in half, like this

Which was something I wasn't too thrilled about, but it turned out fine because the bumper looks perfect I still need to go back to my moms house and take a picture of the actual bumper

I was in the same situation as you when I got my camaro. My dad had promised me a car if my grades were on point after I finished high school. A camaro was my dream car, but it was just too expensive so things weren't looking up. However, after a full year of looking (yes I looked at cars for a really long time), we ended up seeing a beautiful aqua blue metallic camaro at a toyota dealership. It was a used 2010 2LT. I instantly fell in love. It took a few days after that of talking and convincing but eventually we ended up making a deal where I had to hold a job and contribute to paying off the car with my dad.

So I didn't end up getting my high school graduation car until I was 19 after I had finished my freshman year of college, but it was so worth the wait! That was last summer. Now I've had the car for just a bit over a year.

After all that time, I am ready to start looking at mods and taking it slow. This thread has given me a lot of ideas and inspiration on what to do so thanks for making it and giving us all the details its been really enlightening!
