Fuel questions?

Gonna be starting the build on 12 here pretty soon and had a few questions on fuel.
Quick specs of car.

2012 ss
Stock crank forged rods and pistons
Stock heads with some porting work most likely
Custom ground cam
2 inch primary headers
No cats
Hi ram intake
Built manual valve body 4l80e
Built rear end
Vortech ysi on 22 psi
Meth injection
E85 fuel source

I have a like new in tank a1000 setting on my shelf but I know it's not big enough for e85

I have it thought out that id2000's will flow enough for e85 and 11-1300 rwhp.

What fuel pumps are y'all running and line size. If I need to go to a cell I will buy I really wanna utilize my factory tank as this is a street driven daily driven car.

What fuel psi?

What injector?

Fuel controller?

I'm just kind of dumb when it comes to the fuel side and I wanna learn more but also don't wanna learn by melting a cylinder down!

Iv learned the hard way and have got where im at now and on fuel I wanna be close to right the first time.

I appreciate any help y'all can give me!

Forum vendors feel free to pm me or chime in. I like to keep the money in the circle if I possibly can

I went with the Squash intank full return. They have pumps for E85 too. You can choose whatever fuel line size you find appropriate.

I'd like to know how your build goes. I have a YSI and plan on getting forged internals and run up 20-22 psi as well

That man is insane 1000+ RWHP street car!!! Never saw any kind of track. I'm not close to that power and I already can't put good use to it on the streets

Haha, I know. I hope to meet him one day. I've been basing my build on his ysi version.

Once you see his TT results and reaction to driving the TT setup you will be upgrading in awhile.

Your bottom end is gonna go

You need a forged crank for sure, and realistically a new block with 6 bolt heads.

the factory block and crank can usually hold 1000hp w/o a problem. I haven't seen to many cars over that level with them still stock.

I went with Squash myself. This way, when I'm ready for more power, I'll be set for fuel up to 1K with the injectors I have now.

Stock crank is proven for 1200 rwhp over and over. So what the hell I might as well to!

Im not worried about the stock crank... if it goes it goes. I have a back up plan in the works. There are many builds over 1k rwhp with stock crank. Dave Childress had 1300rwhp and it lasted a couple years racing. I read somewhere 1500 crank hp is the limit. Boils down to tune and fuel. Same as with the heads.

Stock crank is fine for 1000rwhp.

Now getting more than 1026rwhp out of a Ysi will be a challenge. E85 or not that is about all that blower will do without spinning it to death or some trick stuff like a volute and no air filter.

Steve Morris has a volute and filter combo. He guarantees 25hp or he buys it back. It is $800 I believe.

You better get those pistons gas ported if you plan on the bottle method.

Iv always sprayed everything. Ss been on bottle since second week I owned her. Just something about saying your blown and on bottle lol. All safety precautions will be taken to ensure a good clean burn. Ill proly only spray in "Mexico". I talked with squash today and they've sold me on there system so that solved that. Now just to suspension and I think I got the rest covered!
