Be on the look out for Dominion Raceway, formally Old Dominion Speedway of Manassas, VA. Soon to be opening in Thornburg, Virginia in 2014.
Old Dominion Speedway closed due to forced out to build up of homes.
The track owners saw Thornburg, VA as a future site.
The site is going through permits to start work on building the next track.
Dominion plans to attract from Richmond, to DC.
Dominion Raceway, Thornburg, VA, they are planning a 1/4 mile round track, with a drag strip, in the next couple of years, a road coarse to run on.
Other things will be coming to the site, hotel's right across from I-95, VDOT is working on improving the bridge over 95.

I plan going to Dominion Raceway first race, no matter if I have to get in line for a ticket.
