yep, the 6l80e is stock with a converter. its not happy with 650whp. it flares alittle.

got a solution for it thou. level 5 rpm 4l80e good to 1000 rwhp on its way.

That should fix it, Mine flares from 3rd to 4th. But I run the 1/8 so good for now.

mine (as you heard) does not like the power its at, and i intend to throw alot more at it. so i just went to the next logical step. plus this trans will be way better for the 1/4. i will finish in 3rd gear now, instead of 4th like i currently am.

Was just trying to learn the car before I add any upgrades. was launching at 4500 rpm, and feathered the clutch so no real wheel spin. Launching at 3500 rpm had me at 8.9 to 9.0, I actually had a few guys with new camaros asking how I was getting under 9 mark. I know my time is not impressive but, for a newbie, I must have been doing something right kept beating the other Camaro's there. Next trip will work on reaction now that I found good launching point.
