well the results are in, on 7/12 the car didn't have a full tank of gas, i didn't eat, and i didn't have the laptop and it weighed in at 3870.

on 7/12 i made 8 passes with an average of 14.9562 @ 94.13
on a 2.23 average 60'
with a best of 14.874 @ 95.16

corrected to 14.46 @ 96.52875 on an 2800 DA


tonight I made 6 passes spraying a 35 shot on all of them with a full tank of gas, and a full bottle of giggle juice and a double double in me we tipped the scales at 4101#. Since my window switch isn't in yet, I didn't activate the system till i got the car stable (read traction), and past 3000 rpm.

average of 14.64 @ 97.21
on a 2.19 60'
with a best of 14.50 @ 97.55


corrected to an average of :14.15 @ 100.61 on a 2900 da
with a best of 13.99 @ 101.123

Man, where did you get those double doubles from? Lol! You gained 235lbs. Assuming a half tank more gas, (60lbs) and a full nitrous bottle, (25lbs) that leaves 150lbs unaccounted for! I think their scales were a little off. Good runs though! Sounds like youre starting to dial that thing in.

You are correct Riki3 - Different dyno's, elevations, temps, dyno operators, fuel quality. There are many variables and those same variables apply to the track as well. We have also seen here at our shop two vehicles with the same set up, same tuning file and same dyno with different results. To take it one step further we have ran stock vehicles on the dyno for comparison, out of 6 "off the lot new" 3.6 LFX Camaros we saw a variation of 25rwhp between the six vehicles. So not all Camaros are created equal to start with.

We recommend using a reputable shop with a qualified dyno operator and good baseline numbers is the best way to go, but no dyno results can show how well the vehicle will actually perform on the street and track. Real world drivability and actual driver's ability are another layer of variation as well.

Matt from Florida Speed and Power did some tweaking tonight on my LFX car- made 410.70 hp and 351.85 torque on a Dynojet. My original Hp was 414 w 338 torque, on a Land and Sea Dyno... So I definitely thing he got a lot more out of it.. He has been tuning these LFX cars now for a while and has a great handle on them.
