So much to choose from now. Back then, there was only 1 model. It made the decision easy. Now it's a much tougher choice. So, which way are you leaning?

Well, I was pretty dead set on just a regular old SS. But a particular moderator keeps firing off emails about how awesome the 1LE is. Now I'm not so sure.

Ran a best of 12.47 and 12.48 @ 118 yesterday, horrible 60'. Ill post up some slips after I get off work today. Car trapped 118 all day long minus a couple of my mess ups.

118 trap speed is good enough for 11's.

Yea, Im thinking if I get my 60' down some my MPH will drop a little though too. Im really hoping to get that 'driver mod' and get it down in the 11's. We'll see how it goes next time at the track though, this track is very poorly kept. Ill be going to one of the best tracks in the country, Norwalk, the next time I go to the track. So track prep should be better and Ill probably have my new clutch before I run my car again so that will help with the launches. 60' is definitely killing me though. Atleast the car is consistent though, its definitely more seat time that I need.

Stone stock 2010 2SS/RS A6 18,000 miles on stock Pirrelli's 1/2 tank of Shell 91 DA was 595.

Best pass 60ft 2.105 1/8th 8.737 at 84.05mph 1/4 13.418 at 106.91.

Next time out she gets Sunoco 94 and the 5/20 fuse mod

It couldn't hurt. Report back if the fuse pull does the trick.

A quick check with Dragtimes shows that the DA was anywhere from -500 to -750 depending on what time the run was.

New PB ....but it can still do better.
I only blew 2 runs out of 10 today by accidently hitting the paddle shift on the line
My best run was
60ft 2.078 1/8th 8.697 at 83.04 1/4 13.375 at 105.46
I had the TC and air on :oops:

Well, I broke her after going racing Wednesday Night fun night. On the way back it drove pretty weird, so I took it to my dads after I got off work Thursday. We had it on the lift and he went through the gears and you could hear the throw out bearing. After he shut it off he hit the clutch pedal again and then the throw out bearing failed and we got a nice puddle of brake fluid on the floor. Not what I wanted to spend the money on but o well, should have ordered one when I realized one wasn't in the clutch kit I ordered and knocked it out in one drop of the transmission.

But ran a best of 12.08 @ 117. Had a good bit of 12.1X's to boot after starting the night out horribly. Rolled through the lights twice and car wouldn't go into second twice. Which both were probably because of the throw out bearing being ready to go out. Im just glad It didn't blow going down the track.

Race weight 4150 just over 1/2 tank of 94

Tires Hankook 275/40/20 rear 245/45/20 front

60 ft 2.043 1/8th 8.664 at 84.30 mph 1/4 13.342 at 105.48mph

I think this tank will run a 12 in the mineshaft air of Oct/Nov.

Went to the track last night and had some awesome DA (800-1100), so I figured Id run pretty good. I was wrong, I ran slower with the same 60' as I have ran in 2300+ DA, MPH was down ~3mph then what it typically runs. Wish I had the means to data log it last night. Only made 3 passes and 12.008 was the best I could do
