I will be getting after it soon, been waiting for good air and I've been traveling a lot for work. I still need to install this ported/modded intake manifold too.

Headed to the track for the first time tonight. Temp should be in the 60's. I'll post back how it goes.

I ain't gonna talk on the intake until it's on the car and showing some results. Otherwise I'm selling something that I've never used.

I had some nice DA Wednesday when I went and was really diss appointed with the results. With the same 60' I ran slower and was down about 3mph on trap speed. DA was 800-1100 all night and my fastest pass was made in ~2300 DA. I'll be back at it tonight I think or maybe tomorrow.

had a new personal best of 11.887 at 117.29mph last night with a DA of 170. The car definitely has more it, but I seem to be the limiting factor.

Got close to my PB, ran a 11.87 @ 116.7. Best is a 11.85 right now(yea, not changing my sig for a hundredth of a second ). Don't have many passes left on my drag radials so I really only have one more shot at it for the year on the drag radials. My goal is 11.6's, which is pretty possible if only I can launch the car better, im consistently pulling 1.75 60' so there is a lot of room for improvement. Ill probably just run street tires next time unless its a perfect day.

New PB

7.867 at 2080 Da.

Good for Official #8 spot w bolt ons.
Good for #1 spot on current Auto L99 as listed without a torque converter (one Auto shown above me has ran faster though at -600 DA without a TC)

Had 1.5 KR in 1st , 15mph spin on 1-2 shift, and then also hit rev limiter and closed T plate at top of 2nd.

Lost by 0.0022
One more event this afternoon

I sooo wish I could be running the 1/4 to see the results.

So..... what do you think my 1/8 run would be at 700 DA and a torque converter?

Tim
You should gain approximately .1 and 1mph for every 700ft drop in DA

As far a torque converter goes, that depends totally on your whole set up. Do you have good DR's to hook. ETing with a good converter is all about being able to launch your car hard. If you have a good stall and a good set of tires it can drop ur ET .3-.4

Thanks.
I had asked for the 1/8 mi not the 1/4 so its difficult to say. I doubt one could just say it would be half (0.05sec) improvement for every 700 drop.

Got plenty of grip left-17s see sig pic

Haven't had a chance to look at over folk's slips or my own Tim, but that new best 1/8 looks like maybe 12.2x of some kind.

Not sure either. Cant always compare other cars to each other, even after recalculating their 'anticipated' times to 0 DA

prior best 1/8 was also my prior best 1/4.
was a 7.994 and 12.317 (per my submitted posts) at 1217DA

now its a 7.867 and ? at 2080DA

Changes made to get the better 1/8 woould also increase the rest of the run at least a little, not to mention another 700 DA easy potential of 0.1s

So 7.994-7.867(would be better at other 1217DA)= 0.127s less.
0.127s off 12.317 = 12.190 at same DA (if they would have left me run it out)
then take another tenth off for a better DA of a nominal 1300DA = 12.09

Wanted a new PBest since DA was fair 1520 (play first then get serious).
Even had an over rev/ TP shutdown on 3-4.
Moving up to #6 on 1/8 and #10 on 1/4 official bolt on fast lists ( no TC, L99).
