Did you buy your briefcase? Or does it come standard equipment?

It looks white in the top pic and silver in the bottom pic. What color is it?

It's locked up, and JC wasn't around. Since its a contest car, they aren't letting folks in it.

The briefcase is sent to you by AARP once you buy the car...

It's silver. Not my favorite color on this car. I still want the Lime Rock Green. Funny that the standard Stingray still has all the vent louvers for the brake and diff coolers, but they're capped off under the grills. The seats looks VERY narrow (may have to lose a few pounds). Not the Barco-loungers found in the Camaros.
You can also win a kid's electric version (in the first photo). I might have better luck getting in and out of that...

...or my first mod might be on me; a light-weight, high-performance titanium knee!

Anyone up for Little Anthony's tonight? North side will meet at Quick Trip on Cortaro and I-10 at 4:00. Jason and Dee, and Tami and Myself are going so far.

I've seen previous issues in the BX on base too. I checked earlier today and the new issue wasn't there.
Maybe I'll stop by that Barnes and Noble now....

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been keeping up to date with everyone, I have been trying to keep focus on my classes this semester so I can transfer at the correct time next year. At the current moment I am not sure whether or not I will be able to come to the mod day this weekend. But I hope I can!

On a side note, I have noticed that my grille lights are no longer functioning, as far as I can tell the wires seem intact, the receiver is in the right position and the battery in the remote has been replaced? Any one have any other suggestions? I don't really want to replace them yet.

Hi David, time to pull out the multimeter and start checking the power and the ground wires. If you make it Saturday, I'll be glad to run it down for you.

Good day Tucson owners. Can someone recommend a shop in town with good price and good choice of replacement 20 tires for my 2010? (pic shows 18's, changed them out for stock 20's with the PZero's).
Thanks

We all have had good luck with Discount Tires either one on Ina. The Nittos are a good replacement as well, better tread life. You can also shop tirerack.com, then goto the dealer and have them price match.

Go to the one at Ina and Shannon. It has a lower tax rate than the one at Old Father (just a few blocks away). I saved 25$ in taxes on tires for the Jeep.

Went Cat-less, more of a dog person

I live outside of Tucson and dont have to get smog tested! Just one of the lucky ones! Ive heard rumors of bad smells from goin cat-less. If thats the case I'll have some HF cats put in. Cant wait to get them on and get it dyno tuned!!!

Wish I was cat less. I'm allergic to the furry buggers and like the smell of fresh gas. Guess I spent to much time in the garage as a kid.

Seriously, it does take some time for the hi-flow cats to start working. I about gassed my wife while backing up on ramps the weekend before last. Car smelled like gas fumes for quite a while.

I did the dyno at cars in the park a few years ago. Really affordable and the crowd was fun.

Question: I picked up my car from the body shop yesterday. The roof is repaired and it looks pretty good. Of course "detailing" the car before delivery meant washing it with a dirty rag so there's a lot of paint correction I'm going to have to do...AGAIN...But I digress.

My question is for those of you with sunroofs. When your sunroof is open, does it rattle if you go over really bumpy, washboard, like roads? I don't remember mine rattling, but I didn't typically travel over those roads. I did last night to see a friend and I had to close the sunroof it was rattling so bad.

No rattles at all with my sunroof. Full open or partly opened. Time to visit the shop again...
