End Link Question? Please Help

I have a 2010 1LT Camaro that I recently lowered an 1 3/4 in. using Pfadt Featherlight Coilovers. The factory End Links are no longer matching up correctly with the factory sway bar connection points with the car resting on its wheels.

The front end link looks like it needs to be about 1 1/2 in. longer, and the rear looks like it needs to be about 1/2 in. shorter.

For those of you who have lowered your Camaro 1 3/4 in. or more, what end links did you purchase to set the car up correctly?

I also plan to replace the factory sway bars as well. What bars did you use, and were you happy with the results?

As always. thanks SO MUCH for ALL of your help!

The sway bar bushings on the 5th Gen Camaro hold the bars so tight they do not move within the brackets. They twist. When you switch to aftermarket bars, the will turn in the brackets and you can use your OEM length endlinks. Put the car on jack stands and use a floor jack to to match the bar hole to the endliknk.

As Pete said, the bars will twist in their mounts and will bolt right up.

As for sway bars, you have a few choices. The least costly option would be to go with a set of FE3 style sway bars. (I would recommend the Pfadt or Hotchkis sport sway bars)

Next option would be to go with an FE4 style setup. This means updating/upgrading the rear lower control arms to that of the 2012+. Now since you have a V6, you only have one option unless you upgrade your brakes as there are clearance issues. The Pedders FE4 style rear bar will bolt right up and leave plenty of room for your brakes. This would be the option I would recommend.

If you did upgrade your brakes, then you you would have the option of going with the Pfadt ZL spec bars or factory ZL1 or 1LE sway bars.

Please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions or pricing.

Best regards,

Tyler
