Not trying to start a fight or anything but the amount of money put into the v6 to make it that fast, you can buy a v8 do work to it and it'll probably be fast then the v6

lets see, 24 k for a new V6, 10k in mods = unique car that can smoke a SS, or 35k for a SS and 10 k in mods. . I think I will save my 11K and have my unique sleeper SS killer...

With that mentality, you can just go buy a Fox body Mustang and put $2k into it and beat a stock SS as well. That's not the point. Whatever someone's reasons are for buying a V6 over a V8 or vice versa, people buy and modify cars to suite their own tastes and style. To me, a good car is a good car (and I love mine), and there will always be someone faster, so I don't get all butt hurt when I go to the track and memorize someone's license plate after two runs, whether it be an SS, a Corvette, or another Mustang.

It's not just about the HP and making it faster. You could buy a supercar, too, after all; so why buy a Camaro and mod it? It's about the love of the car and love of modding. Some people like to do thing very few others are doing.

For me it not about beating anything but fun when I do. (who am i fooling i like when they say that's a v what?) My car although slow is very different and that why I like my six. money wise is pointless the fun is in the build like any other car.
