It's the same deflector as comes on the real ZL1 Camaro. I am sure you have to glue it to the underside of the hood.
Here is a picture.

Nice! I was considering Hex Vents. Might re-consider that. PM me details.

I didn't like the matte finish so I redid mine. Keep reacting with paint for some reason so we just wrapped it gloss black looks damn good to me

First time post here, found it wandering around Google.I've got an 07 CTS 3.6 Sport/Lux, and an 06 STS-V, and I'm loving the look of this. I'm wondering if I could get some figures from one of you fine folks...? I doubt it would fit the CTS - unless there's some flex to the insert, there's too much of an angle at the centerline of the hood - but I'm curious for possibly adding to the V. How much underhood room (depth) is required - what's the depth of the insert installed? Would anyone be so kind as to post overall dimensions? L x W, perhaps?

Could you post a picture of your hood? Maybe put a yardstick or some way to judge the measurements of your hood.
One factor you may also have a problem with is the under hood bracing. Where it is located in relationship to the mounting points of the insert. The curvature of the hood could also be a factor. They will flex some but not a lot.

I am seriously considering doing this mod to my 1LE, but I was thinking of having it painted to match my brm, with a carbon fiber overlay on the hood instead of the factory black matte.. thoughts??? pricing???

That would probably look good. Definitely one of a kind. I say do it!
