Air intake question

Right now I have the K&N air charger intake installed on my car. And a buddy of mine also a member here sold his car. So he has the Airaid intake that he is selling for a $100. My question is which one is better performance wise. I love the way the Airaid looks installed compared to the k&n. I just don't want to make the switch for looks. I want the one that will give me better performance on my car.

The Airaid would be an upgrade but just barely. If he would swap straight up I might go with the Airaid but you aren't talking about enough of an improvement to put any money into it.

A Cold Air Induction one would be worth the upgrade due to the heat shield. I gained some time by going from K&N to CAI at the track.

You won't feel a big difference between the two bobby. There's a guy selling a vararam in the classifieds for 175 I think. If you can swing that, I'd definitely do the vararam. You'll feel the depifference, trust me. I went from the airaid to the vararam and I'd do it all over again if I had to. I'll help u install if u need help

The Airaid is one of the better systems for the V6. I say pick it up and you should easily be able to sell the K&N for what you spend on the Airaid.

Best regards,

Tyler
