I have the same annoying rattling noise.... but its only about 2k.... like light metal peices vibrating against each other.

Mine sounds like it's backfiring when slowing down in any gear.. Dealer says it's normal for this car. It's not LOUD... just like they used to sound in old muscle cars when you reved them up or when you slowed in gear.. Dealer said GM tuned it that was on purpose..
Any thoughts?
