+1 lol

The GT3rs's with 4.0 motor make right at 500hp from the factory. The 3.8's which is what that one appears to be should have around 430 or so hp.

Look at it as Porsches Z28.

That one is actually a 996 so it's a 3.6 with 360hp. They didn't get the 3.8 until 997

I see. I did not look close enough at the body. Thought is was a 997.2 version.

Where was this? The DA where I've run in Germany is very rarely below 2500ft, and tracks aren't prepped.

I would say OPs car would run deep 11s on a well-prepared US track at or close to sea level.

This event was at the Aalen Heidenheim Elchingen Flugplatz near Neresheim.

MURRRCAAAAAAAAA

Btw, the Porsche would be able to launch much easier because most of its weight is on the rear wheels.

It was on an airfield. Not sure how often they run there. This was my first race in Germany.

Should the Mustang have the same excuse... Oh its only a 1/4 mile car. Dont test the GT Track Pack against a 1LE on a road course, Dont test the BOSS 302 on a road course vs the ZL1.. Maybe Ford should build a road course car.

Really who thinks this way.

If you bring your car to the 1/4 mile track and lose dont make excuses. Man up and say good run.

lol
but i'm sure you'd still want one and there are lot's of porsches running the streets that will put a beat down on pretty much anything.
try a 911 turbo in a 1/4 mile race or 0-60 (they run 3.4 and 11.1 )

running a 12.2 in CAMARO ZL1 just got beat by the electric TESLA car
even the PANAMERA turbo 4 door porsches run (3.6 and 11.6)
