So the frosted r the clear?

The clear doesn't look yellow like the tinted 1.

Depends on the angle you are looking at, if you look directly at the LED the optics will reflect the yellow filtering flux and you will see yellow dots. But yes frosted= clear lens.

installed my Lights, but when i go into reverse, shut my door, or move my car any variation. it goes into a low beam for a second then back to a high beam. Maybe a loose connection?

Yes, if you look directly at it (the same way that photo was taken)

Sounds like it could be a connection or moisture in the connector. Either way you can add some bulb grease into the connector and it should correct the problem

Question Reverse Lights

Has anyone put them on a 2013? I have the camera in the back, with the 7in display inside, and wanted to know if there are any additional steps in taking the bumper off.

Only additional step is that you need to unplug the camera harness. But other than that its the exact same installation.

Another member on here got a set of these ghosted... Any way to get those?

Would it reduce light output too much?

We can offer the ghost paint on the reverse lights. The lights would have to go to our painter so it will take roughly 1-2 weeks to get them back from him and ready to ship out to you.

Please email me at Jonathan[at]AACstyle[dot]com and I will be happy to get you a price.

Can someone post a picture of a ghost set.
I just ordered every led for my cam except these reverse lights. Couldn't decide if I wanted the tinted or ghost but,I haven't seen a ghost pair yet.

The reverse lights don't come ghosted (that I know of). Just tinted and clear.

The web site only shows Tinted or Clear as well.

Ghosted would kind of defeat the purpose IMO.

I emailed Jonathan... He isn't allowed to talk about pricing, but he quoted me $79 to add ghosting, and its a custom option. takes an extra 1-2 weeks to get the lights, and the light output would be drastically reduced.

So, if you're going for ultimate stealth, it's an awesome option. But, takes away from function. Just like anything else, it's a give and take.

for a pic: (4th picture down in this FS thread)

Interesting. At that point you might as well take it to a body shop and have them fill in the holes. That's what I would do anyway. Good to know it is an option though, thanks for the info.

The lens in not intended to be removed so this would void the warranty on the product.

AACstyle, what type of tail lights are those seen in posts 31, 32, and 33. I know Oracle makes two different types, is it one of those?
Thanks,
C

They make 4 that I can think of. V1 in cold cathode and SMD's and V2 in SMD and Plasma. Not sure if they make the V1 in Plasma though, that would make 5.

These judging on the smoothness of the light and the date of the post would suggest the V1 Cold Cathode. But they can confirm, just trying to help.

If I remember correctly they are SMD but I am not 100% sure because we did that install three years ago.
