rotors and calipers 2010 Camaro SS

Hi all,
just installed a complete rear carrier with all the goodies needed for drag from a Camaro5 member.

Question 1; the rear carrier came with slotted rotors and racing pads, I see no point having them in back, can I simply swap them back to front and front to back (front rotors are OEM)?

Question 2; going to 17" weld wheels and I'm going to have to remove the roller skates in front and since I still have the complete original rear cradle can i use the rear calipers?

thank you
Steven

Are you asking if you can use the rear calipers up front? I wouldn't say 100% no you can't but they are completely different calipers. For that reason you can't use the pads out of the rear calipers on the stock front calipers.

No, you can't swap the rotors. You have the ebrake shoes in the rear, they are a different offset as well (i think), they are different diameter as well, not much, but they are different

Hi Steven,

The rotors, pads and calipers from the rear will not work up front, or vice versa. As for the roller skates, I'd suggest going with a pad that does not use them vs cutting them off.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler
