To be clear, you can't apply these to the SS bumper?

No, Port will not fit a SS bumper.

Your option is to get a complete front fascia, note the center radiator grill is very different and overall shape is surprisingly very different...

T1 Ports are to be installed on a Zl1 Bumper

You should look at our ACS-T4
http://www.acscomposite.com/store/#!...29&id=24724786

Or ACS-T3 port

those look sweet but I don't know if I'd have the balls to do it again. I had the T3 ports on my previous SS but I don't think I want to go through the hassle again on my ZL1.

I think I'd much rather get a portion of the ZL1 bumper for a conversion and add these ports. Cheaper to get everything but the ports somewhere else though I imagine.

These are easier to install than our T3, they have rear plenums instead of rings.

Much easier to install, and will deflect air upward in the engine compartment.

Once you see the ACS-T1 next to a stock Zl1 you will be sold ;-)

Substantial saving when you consider the cost of shipping a bumper to you, compared to picking it up at the dealer...

You are correct, the most cost effective solution is buy a Zl1 bumper and installing the ACS-T1 ports.

Am I wrong or is your concept picture of the ports different than the actual ports themselves? The lower corners appear different than the other. The actual one has an opening for light and the concept photo has a grill look to it.

Also do you have any pictures of how this bumper set up matches up with a SS hood?

You are correct, red image has grill inserts in the secondary scoop. Production version does not include the bars.... we do offer a vertical light set up for the scoop opening.

The difference is 1 '' in the cowl line between the ZL1 or T1 fascia and the SS hood. Most have their body shops rectify this prior to paint.

If you can replicate the exact same look as the red zl1 I would be all in. Probably too late though considering the moldsalready been made. I think the actual product and picture look too different. Any thoughts on making something exactly like the picture, even if its a one off custom? Pm me please.

The red image is a rendering from our cad file, so they are pretty much the same.

If you wish to get the same look, you simply need to supply your body shop a Camaro SS lower rad grill, have them trim the fins and install in the secondary scoop. Fairly simply task, from what i have seen, most customer prefer the HP LED lighting over the fin.

In order to reduce any confusion i will get the red car images replaced.

Thank you for your reply. The light strip is more rectangular where the red picture is triangular. Is there enough room to trip the hole to match the shape as the picture. Please send me the original picture, I think it's fantastic and the inspiration for what I want my front to look like.

i'm considering buying a set. But i have a question first.

I currently have the T3 port and LED's in my SS bumper. I'm doing the ZL1 conversion. Will those LED's fit in the ZL1 port?

Yes, the Lights in your T3 ports can be carried over to our T1 ports, no problem.

Hello,
How hard is it to make the cuts?
Do you provide a detail template for the Trimming/cutting?
what are the tolerances of the cut? just in case of a screw up, are the edges of the ports wide enough to cover a miss cut?

Also, do you provide the wire harness if we get the single eagle T light, along with the HP Vertical LED Slim Bar light?

Could you provide a video or detail instructions on the installation process?

Thank you and sorry for all the questions.

Answers below....

Hello,
How hard is it to make the cuts?

Fairly simple as the cut line is very forgiving, especially on the T1.

Take a look at

Do you provide a detail template for the Trimming/cutting?

Yes 2 templates are provided, one for each side.

what are the tolerances of the cut? just in case of a screw up, are the edges of the ports wide enough to cover a miss cut?

About 1/4'' to 3/8'' depending of edge. I have yet to see a customer to scrap a bumper ;-)

Also, do you provide the wire harness if we get the single eagle T light, along with the HP Vertical LED Slim Bar light?

Wire adapters and installation instructions are included with each lighting kit.

Could you provide a video or detail instructions on the installation process?

Thank you and sorry for all the questions.[/QUOTE]
