I agree there are a lot of people that have not had any problems at all.

I was just being curious and wondering what the failure rates are, and how it compares to standard oem struts/shocks.

I am not trying to talk bad about any vendors. I think Pfadt, Pedders, and BMR are all very good companies who make quality products.

Contact pete, they would most likely ship replacements to you door. age of them would probably dictate if they charge or not, or if you bought them or if they are 2nd hand ownership.

I strongly believe that improper installation of the rear shock is the culprit. Make sure that lower point that meets the lower control arm is timed or else it will put a side load on the shock and kill it over time. I don't tighten my lower bolt until the car is rested on the ground. Even Eibach mentions this.

Also, sometimes things break because the ride height is set too low, or improper preload on the springs or both.
Well said. It's amazing the coilovers we see come in for repair but breaking coilovers isn't always a bad thing. It just makes us redesign & rerelease giving an even more bulletproof product on stage 2, stage 3, and so on and so forth. As always we take care of the issue so don't be afraid to go out there and push the limits!

If those are the 28mm ver1 SwaybarB, a supplemental collar lock was released to keep the bar from moving side-to-side. My sways were from the Dec 2009 pre-order. Later in mid-2010, Pedders sent me the restrofit kit. Later versions include a welded collar ring.

Mine are still going strong. Same with the original XAs.

I busted front strut on my Camaro Track 2 Xa Supercar Camaro Justice Package on the way home from Camaro 5 Fest in Phoenix 2011. Haddad Motorsports did a great just with installation, explanation, and knowledge of there products. Sense Cali visit again was out the question (military). I took my car the Fesler in Phoenix. It's closer to my army base. Got there they said they will take care. Ok you think but it didn't quite work that way. They wanted to charge removal and installation fees cause the original installer said it wouldn't cost cause it was done by a Pedders dealer. Weeks went by no answer. Long story short they didn't want to do the job and said the only way to get my car back is if the can take the struts for labor charge.By that time I was digested with their company ad went to pick my car up. They're taking my sway bars too so I had a few words with them and proceed to never use the company again. Through this process, Pete and Haddad always stay in contact trying to fix the situate at and hand. I will Never use any product from Fesler even if it need is.
