This is nothing whatsoever about the shop, it's just not getting to drive her is killing me... We will plan for the October run...

I sent Corey a message about this and he greed 100%... It'll give us time to get everything right....

I totally agree with you Robert. I take my car & my wife to dinner just about every Friday or Saturday. I'm driving it on the same tires that went over 200 mph at The Mile. My goal with this car was to go over 200 in a standing mile, be able to drive it anywhere at anytime, still be a ZL1 ready to tear up a road course & run some low 9 second passes in the 1/4 mile. 3 of those goals I've already accomplished, the 1/4 mile part I should have done within the next month. I took it to the drag strip 2 weeks ago, my mph is already more than what I'll need, I just have to get the boost controller & traction all dialed in to where I need it. Your car has the same potential as mine, your standing Mile mph will be higher than me because you have more power than I do & your rear gear is better setup than mine. I know you have the 5th gen record in The Texas Mile as a goal also, its right there, we've all seen your last run, you were gonna crush that record on boost only, I imagine that's eating at you knowing you had it. I'm debating changing my rear gearing to get more mph in the standing Mile events but I love everything about the car right now, it drives so nice I don't wanna mess anything up. I say get it all worked out to last the long haul & drive that beauty, enjoy it, that's what its all about.

Coming from you Josh, that means a lot...

I know I had the record, now just get the car right and go do it officially...

And enjoy the car while managing it...

I'm still stuck on the rig with no relief in sight... I was supposed to be out here for a week, and it's been over 4 weeks so far... Hopefully they will get this stack right and headed south in the next couple of days...

When I get home, we will load the car on the trailer, and head to Houston to meet up with Chris and do the final tuning and set up of all the components needed to make the car as fast as possible and to protect the engine...

I've been busy as a cut worm out here and haven't been on in a while... Apologies...

I hope everyone's new year is off to a good start as well...

Thank B.

I'm scheduled off the rig in the am if the testing goes well tonight... I'll be up all night and then have an 11 hour drive home... May have to get a hotel along the way...

Drive safe dude. I know you already know it but from a 10 year truck driver, sleeping and driving is hazardous to your health.

What? I do it all the time.

..... oh.... at the same time? ..... yeah

I'll never forget in the 80's & 90's driving thru New Mexico on I-40 in the morning, there would almost always be a truck waaaay out in a field parked. Was likely a heart attack or fell asleep.

Merry Christmas! Hey I've been busy, hope the new job is going well, and enjoy your time off. AND, I totally agree with enjoying the car for a while rather than visiting it in the race car hospital for months at a time
