I'm not sure why somebody hasn't suggested this yet, but I think it's time for our Fbodfather to head that way with some black SUVs and get this taken care of. This is bad pub, not just for the dealer, but for Chevrolet and GM as a whole.

Well i found this thread through facebook on LSXTV.

Anyway feel really bad for the guy with the ZL1 so i decided to email the dealer here is what i said:

I think that is the wrong dealer. The dealer is in Delaware, USA, not Canada.

This just doesn't seem to make sense at this point. By now the insurance company or companies should have come up with a value and tried to settle on a number for the totalled 2012. That is just how this has to work, one insurance company would take the lead and come up with a value and then go after the perpetrator. As far as after a settlement number is reached then it goes from that point.Also, a counter offer is mentioned by OP in his post what was it just curious??

Make sure another sports car never rolls into their shop. Would be a different story if they made good on the deal with an untouched low to no mile car. But their refusal to do that and pony up the maybe 10k difference to make it right through whatever means will probably end their service center.

Hehe. Well, maybe the other dealers will pitch in to help, just get it over with so these guys don't bring down the whole brand. That or maybe they want this story to continue... it makes most other dealerships look downright virtuous!

To the OP, if you were on yellowbullet and posted up your story, you'd have a new car by now, lol. The guys on their are ruthless, dedicated, and have each others backs like no other. YB gets results like no other car forum out there.

Im surprised they havent taken care of this. I took my ss in for warranty work and the service department dented the hell out of my camaro. Threats of suing and not five days later they where repainting the vehicle. No idea who did the damage. Don't care. The damage to your car? Im surprised they didnt jump on fixing this quick. I wish you the best of luck and you have my sympathy. Shame to see such a beautiful zl1 totaled do to incompetnecy. I really question dealerhships and their integrity.
