I pulled the fuses on my fiancee's mustang AND IT TURNED INTO A SHELBY.

Then she put regular in and the supercharger went away.

Bout time your problem is solved budd, too bad you still can't beat me in the 1/4 unless you get a grip!! ahahah good to hear your car is running as it should now you have another problem... massive tire burnage

and yes the tuner is called an Xcalibrator from SCT they also make them for GM allows you to use mail order tunes from some popular tuners and adjust lots of settings such as rev limit, speed limit, fan temp, shifting points (for autos) air/fuel, spark...etc... www.sctflash.com

yeah, they have handheld tuners. tho they are preprogrammed with things you can tune. it doesnt offer you the full pcm to tune individual cyl's or injectors or whatever, but a basic, all-around upgrade. I've never been a fan of handheld tuners (except with diesels) as I like to get inside completely and set things up the way I want.

then again, our old shop had LSX and LTX headers with egt and o2 sensors welded to each primary to tune our "top-end" cars cyl by cyil.

I don't know enough about cars to tune it myself... presets would be a great way for me

IRPQ (PQ for short?) - any dyno's since pulling the fuses? Just curious what RWHP you are seeing now.

I did 5 quarter mile runs, the slowest being 13.86 and the fastest being 13.42

0-60 mph slowest was 5.66 and the fastest 5.19

Now I didn'te do the video but used my iPhone and at least one thing is accurate is that it has been consistant against it's self. Over the past 100+ runs I was getting a constant of between 6.1 and 6.2 in the 0-60 mph times and 14.5 and 14.8 in the quarter mile.

My tires were hard to keep from spinning and I have a new problem. That new problem is how to get a good launvh without spinning the tires.

The only oddity is that nothing seems to be reset on the instument panel. Oil life, windows, etc.

So, I want you 'slow' guys to remove the #5 and #20 fuses to reset whatever it is that it resets. I'm not telling you to do this but do it at your own risk. Not that it's dangerous as far as damage but because I don't know, I'm not an expert.

Soooooooo there you have it. I'm going back out later to do some more. I thought that maybe my phone was malfunctioning but the wheel spin was a dead giveaway.

I hope it stays this way. Let us know what you guys find if you do this.

OK, UPDATED WITH VIDS.
The first one is one of the better ones I did a while back.
The second two were today.

iPhone showed 5.24 0-60 mph, and 13.37 quarter mile. (second vid cut for timing)
(movie maker has 5.31)

iPhone showed 5.41 0-60 mph and 13.56 quarter mile. (second vid cut for timing)
(movie maker has 5.34)

"This some'bitch just FEELS better! I like it!"

Hahahaha!! Dude, I wish I could even get an iPhone. Sprint sucks my nucking futz. Your auto hauls ass man. That guy saying he made a mistake really needs to see this. Great runs man and I have some faith in that app.

Well, I guess I overlooked this question. hahahaha

I had put headers and tuned the car after the fuse pull but before my next dyno. So I only had the one dyno from before the pull.

If anyone else has a question just ask away. I'll answer in 3 years.
