Here is a question for you...

The instructions "ZL1 modification" section. I have a Camaro SS, so before I installed this I contacted the manufacturer and asked if the steps were the same for the SS, including the ZL1 section. They stated YES. So I installed it using the instructions and lo and behold, it works... but my radio is disabled and cannot turn on. I remove this component and put the fuses back in and my radio works.

So the question is... should an SS owner skip the ZL1 section which has you remove the white wire from the red one?

I don't know if mine is defective, or if the instructions are not clear if an SS owner separates the white wire and fuse from the red wire. Perhaps the fuse removed to put the white wire in disabled the radio, but I am not about to randomly try things.

Hey, I apologize for the delayed response! I just now saw this post.

Did you ever figure out the issue? We have never had this problem before.

Best regards,

Tyler

I had this same problem...... just tried to install mine. Radio not working. plugged fuse back in, and the radio works fine. Anyone have a fix.... Mine is a 1LE with the NPP exhaust, but the fuse panel looked the same so i would have assume it would work.
