Post your highest hp for 1LE axles

I'm trying to see what hp the "beefed" up 1LE axles have seen. Kinda curious to how far they've been pushed. If they are much stronger than stock ss ones

I think the common mistake is people assume the 1LE axles are "beefed up" for drag racing. The car was built as a track car and the components added like zl1 bearings and a hybrid SS/zl1 axle is not to endure the shock of a launch. It is for longevity on a road course. Driveline shock at a drag strip or on the street puts very different demands on components.

Very much agreed! I don't drag my car at the strip, I don't care for chasing numbers. I drive my car on the street like I'm on a road course! I drive it like I stole it. But I don't ever dump the clutch or use the launch control, I just FEELS like it's bad on the powertrain

Two words,

Wheel Hop.

Prevent it, or better yet, get rid of it, and you will be OK.
