Go on the corvette forums and see where some of the Hendrick dealers where asking a markup on the new stingray and when Mr Hendrick found out he personally sent out an email stating that is not a practice to be used at any Hendrick dealership.
Thanks. I'm a member of hallco union maybe that will help me.

I'll be there Saturday investigating my trade options...
What you gonna trade for?

This is my first Camaro (first performance car of any kind), and since I bought it in October my interests in modding and tracking the car have developed. I want to upgrade the wheels/tires and I need to do something with the seats and/or roof to improve headspace (so I can comfortably wear a helmet...can't now). I want to see what would be required to trade for a version that has everything I have now (same color, options, etc) plus the 1LE package and recaros, and MINUS the sunroof. It's a long shot (financially), but I need to say I tried before I spend the $$$ upgrading mine.

I see. The recaro seats are awesome looking. I can't afford them but they beautiful and would help a ton. The sunroof does cut down on head space.

Yeah I had to explain what it was to the salesman and the sales manager who then had to finally just let me use the computer to show him what I was talking about then they had to call to get one sent in. It was worth it though. Got mine (1SS/1LE) with NPP exhaust for under 37K out the door at Jeff Smith in Byron. If you go tell em Scotty sent you so I can get my referral money.

I have a good friend that is a Chevy dealer. He was not familiar with 1LE, but was kind enough to get me leads on 3 or 4 in the Southeast including invoice sheets. In the end I found one on my own and bought it out of state. If I learned anything, it was to do my own homework on this one. These just aren't mainstream enough for cold calling a dealer.

Today there may be a few on lots scattered around the Southeast. But as you probably heard they have paused production on the 1LE during the coldest months. That means few if any sitting on a lot from last November.

If you dont want to wait for production to resume, try cars.com and autotrader and you'll learn to spot the clues like the SS Performance Package with 3.91 gear in ads posted by clueless dealers. (not meant to be derogatory)

As for pricing, they dont give these away. Expect to pay at least 35.4 for 1LE 1SS/RS w/NPP PLUS tax this fall when decent rebates are common.
(if you can find a 1SS RS - I only found 1 in 5 were RS when I was shopping)

Feel free to pm me details.

This will be a great weekend to do that, since holiday sales will be on, and they haven't been able to sell any cars recently due to weather. Maybe I'll see you there.

I told them before we even started they can walk out there and take that crap off and I don't need it and its 300 dollars worth of crap marketed way up.

I agree with folks saying to try any Rick Hendrick Chevrolet dealership... When I was looking to buy a 1LE back in November 2013, Rick Hendrick Auto Mall of Durham (NC) didn't have any in stock at the time. I also only wanted specific colors (i.e., silver, white, ashen gray, red), so I searched the Rick Hendrick inventory online & found that Rick Hendrick Chevrolet at Gwinnett Place (Duluth, GA) had about six 1LEs at the time. I printed the build sheets for the ones that were of interest to me, and took them in to the dealership the next day. Coincidentally, my salesman had also found one of the cars (white, 2014 2SS/RS 1LE) that I had found too. So, he called down to GA dealership to make sure it was still in stock... and it was. We agreed on a deal, and they sent a couple of guys down to GA to bring it to Durham. Sale was contingent on my inspection of the car on delivery, so there was no risk involved on my part for them having to bring one in from another dealership. I also went through the same process when I bought my wife a 2014 Impala LTZ in blue ray metallic. I think they located our Impala in MD.

FYI... You're probably not going to find a brand new 1LE for $34k-$35k OTD, but good luck finding what you want!

I bought from a Jeff Gordon dealer, it was a great experience, they were more than helpful in placing my order and were just as excited as I was to see the 1LE come in. No games, no add ons. They were educated about the package and I think they enjoyed working with a person that came in with the exact options that were wanted.

You want it immediately, and you want to pay $34-$35k for it. You're living in Disneyland, the part where dreams come true.

That Yellow 1SS 1LE is still at Hendrick in Buford, but starting negotiations at $5K over sticker and getting to your target price is going to be tough, especially at Hendrick. I got my '12 at Megel Chevy in Dawsonville. They treated me fairly on my trade and on the purchase.

Is this another one that Rick sat in once?

Hard to imagine that everyone pays sticker or more there.
