Why does BMR only offer..

Why does bmr only offer a 1.2 inch drop for the v6 and no 1 inch drop. I wasn't really comfortable going lower than an inch and was just wondering why this is.. looking to order springs like right now haha

Hope you dont let the .2 inches stop you...you will like the springs and highly suggest getting the sways too. Mine handles sooooo good! Looks good too!!

You don't think I will feel the difference? I lowered my trans am too much and the ride really suffered. Just didn't want to do that with this car.

Any lowering spring is going to change the "ride" and comfort of your car. Yes, you will feel the difference. Typically, the shorter the spring, the higher the spring rate has to be to compensate for the shorter travel length. Higher spring rate = stiffer ride. That being said, our springs for the V6 were designed and engineered to give the better handling characteristics that a sports car should have, and provide a nice lowered stance that we felt was appropriate. Now's the time to get 'em!!!

1.2" rear with 1" front on my v6 and it's perfect! Just enough drop her down and balance out the raked look for autocross.

The drop is absolutely perfect, it won't look slammed and still very daily driver friendly. If you need a set let us know!

The 1.2" don't really drop it too low IMO. If you are wanting something a touch higher, check out the Hotchkis 1" springs Part # 19110. They drop the V8 about 3/4-7/8" in the rear and 1" up front. On the V6, they will drop the car fairly evenly front to back due to the weight difference.

Let me know if I can answer any questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

Thank you for the info.. I was just kind of wondering why a 1 inch wasn't offered and why they chose 1.2? Anyone know that answer??

Because some people want a 1.0" drop and some people want a 1.4" drop. We picked a happy medium that would make both people happy without having to make two separate product lines.
