I like the layout for the event so far, but question, as far as traffic flow for those of us with drag cars and trailers, are we going to make our pass, drive down the return road in front of the grandstand and then go back to our designated area?

I see Chevrolet Q&A in the grandstands on Saturday. Is it fair to assume then that Chevrolet will be there in full force like they were in Indy? I apologize if this is already listed somewhere else.

Thanks!

Indy was a short drive for GM so their presence was huge there. It will not be like that in Texas, but will still have a special presentation in this timeslot.

The plan is to have two lines entering the gates and yes, I know the feeling of sitting there in line for a LONG period of time trying to get everyone in those gates. Valdosta was a pretty big learning experience for us and we don't want a couple hours to pass just trying to get everyone in.

I'll clarify with Mike on this, but I'd like at least 4 people (two per line) collecting payment as people come in (and four more for signatures on liability waivers). Moving people in through those gates is a priority. We want to get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Hopefully you guys will make it work so we can start cueing the line before the gates open? That way come 8:00am we can just drive on through

It will be coming down shortly. No one really used it last year and just kept coming here anyway.

We will do all updates in the C5 forum fest section this year.

UPDATE: Drag Clinic will only be Friday morning. Our fast list owner (Merc) will be giving instruction to anyone new to drag racing. And as always there will be plenty of folks available to answer your questions throughout the weekend.

Just show up. Drag strip will be open for 2 days with plenty of racing. $100 for a drivers wristband that's good for both days including autocross.

But you do need to sign up for autox. Please see the sticky threads in this section for all the latest information.
