Glad you're okay!

Get another -- I once bought a car (wife really didn't want me to get it). Asked her to get in and go for a ride -- on the passenger seat I had placed a small stuffed bear holding a piece of jewelry. It worked!

Usually to get any parts or the car, you have to buy it back off the insurance company or have them deduct it off the claim check.
Sometimes it's worth it if there are enough salvageable parts.

I have bought back motorcycles and snowmobiles for rebuilding and parts, especially your aftermarket parts you installed.

Wow....sorry for the accident but glad you are ok. If I were you I'd get another ZL1 and you can use the safety factor of these cars as one of the best reasons to get another one when discussing with your wife. Based on where you live in FL I so no reason to get anything else except for maybe a Stingray. Hope everything works out for you.

I think everybody is missing the most important part of this, did your "girl friend" like the car?

Is it totaled? I would still drive that bad boy, without the worry of scratching it haha

First, I'm glad you're OK.

Second, it is going to be your car, so if you can afford it, get what YOU want. Tell your wife you love her and value her opinion, but it is your choice. She chooses her ride, you choose yours.

My .02¢ worth.

I hear driving courses are fun, maybe get some instruction and practice at keeping the shiny side on top when you find the odd situation like that. There are nutjobs out there that make it necessary. I know, I ride a motorcycle.

That did sting a bit. Looks just like mine! Good news that you are safe, I say get another or take a peek at the stingray. Sweet car either way.

From my own personal experience as a car enthusiast shopping for a car with a wife asking for her opinions is like hunting with a game warden. Its no dam fun. To be brutally honest i find it quite painful. My advice get what you really want and leave the wife at home while you go car shopping. My 2 cents.
