Will this work w/ the GM wind screen and how difficult is the install? A different one I looked at last yr involved taking apart almost the entire back seat area.

I know first hand. You can keep screen in but won't stand, so it's like its just there covering the seats. And yes whole back seat area needs to be removed, very east. Plus must drill a few holes in the plastic trim. But is worth it. Check out YouTube. It's easy. Took me an hour.

Sport Bar install!

I purchased my convertible "Sport Bar" early April, 2017 for $420.00. When the box arrived several days later I took out the direction booklet and read that from beginning to end "several" times. On a very clear day I moved the Camaro into a nice shaded area. I had a picnic table that I laid out all the components as well as all the "required tools". I also had a nice thick blanket that I laid over the picnic table. Wanted something clean and soft that I could lay the interior pieces on.

I took my time as I was not wanting to make a mistake. I actually wrote down the time I started and the exact time I ended the task. Started at 1551 hours and ended at 1812 hours. This job took me 2 hours and 21 minutes. Mind you I did take my time and followed the directions to the letter of the law.

Only second set of hands used was my wife helped me place the "Sport Bar" in place at 1755 hours.

Now that I have actually installed one the hardest part was "my nerves", God what if I measure wrong and cut the whole in the wrong place? Before I drilled or cut holes into the trim I measured each cut at least 4 times or more. I am thankful their directions are spot on!

I fully believe this is one of the greatest additions for the convertibles, when you put the top down you loose so much of the lines and character, the "Sport Bar" gives it all back and more. I also use the wind screen which the "Sport Bar" actually supports it.
