best trailing arms
Did a quick but not thorough search for this topic. Did not see anything. I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on best bang for buck as well just the best trailing arms for our cars. Im not looking to get a complete rear end kit unless there are some good deals out there with toe end links and upper arms AND trailing. Thanks to all.

Best bang for your buck??? Check out our TCA026 with poly inner bushing, or the adjustable TCA033 with spherical rod end. Both incredibly strong and both will help reduce wheel hop. Don't forget to include the outer trailing arm bushings (BK006).

I went with the bmr as I caught them on sale and have no complaints. Lsr is good also from what ive heard

What are your goals for the car?
For most applications a "basic" non-adjustible, poly bushing trailing arm will work just fine (~$140/set). If you're going hard-core, look into the chrome-moly arms or adjustible options as well as either a delrin bushing or a spherical bearing (up to $300/set). With any of these upgrades, it's a good idea to go ahead and upgrade the outer trailing arm bushing as well (I believe BMR is the only real option, see above ~$30). The three companies that come to mind right away are (no particular order): Spohn BMR LSR The Spohn and BMR both have different options with their arms (non-adjustible, adjustible, bushing types, etc). Spohn and LSR each have a chrome-moly upgrade option. They are all about the same for pricing if you compare "apples to apples". When I was discussing my upgrades with JDP, they recommended the Spohn arms with the poly bushings since Bee is mostly a daily driver. They said if I was looking at doing more racing they would highly recommend upgrading to at least the spherical bearings. Another relatively inexpensive option would be to go with some 1LE/ZL1 toe rods (you can find some take-offs in the classifieds). The rods themselves are identical to the base SS, but the upgrade comes in the form of spherical bearings instead of the poly bushings. There is no change in road noise, but the bearings help remove any possible binding associated with wheel hop.

I only have experience with the BMRs so I can't offer a comparision. I will say the BMRs are excellent!

Bang for the buck: Standard BMR or Spohn arms with poly ends.

+1 on the BMR Trailing arms. Good value. Also did the outer bushing. That along with my standard ZL1 toe rod setup has reduced but not eliminated wheelhop. If it happens you just get out of it before things break.
But now with extra power SS sidestep is back big time. May have to go full polys. While I did the TAs myself, I will farm that project out. What a PIA unless you have the right shop and equipment to work with. Man I hate getting under the car on jack stands.

I got the lsr toe rod and trailing arm chromoly package - the cost was less than the bmr and spohn stuff but they don't offer the spherical joints. Haven't got them on yet so I can't comment to that but the reviews of them were very positive. Like most people, I'll never be able to compare them to another brand
