Saturday Night Car Cruise

I'm in Maryland visiting family this week. I decided to head over to the Wegman's Cruise in Abingdon, MD on Saturday night. Used a Sony Cybershot to take these.

This Heavy Chevy was in Hemmings Muscle Machines

Great pics of some nice rides. Love the Olds 442. You don't see many of those around here.

Man that brings back fond memories when the car bug bit me.

I started with the 69 impala which I got very good at changing rear axles from getting sideways in front of a friends ex girlfriend and hitting the curb.

Then for some reason my dad wouldn't get me get a 64 GTO convertible, but did give me his 1972 340 duster.........Till I threw a rod

Then there was my 1968 Gran Torino 4 sp with 390 in it. That was a rocket, but for a kid, it didn't do well in the snow.

Back stepped to a 1968 Mercury Comet....... It sure loved donuts and shopping carts.

then I went to the 1964 international scout through college, only to realize I have the need for speed and got back into the 1979 Z28 4sp.

God I miss those days of $500-$1000 dollar cars
