why not. . .those fat tires mean better traction for whipping some poor mustang, or whatever car you want to put in place of the mustang.

Actually the Bumblebee Camaro isnt really a Camaro at all its a GTO. Hell those arent even real wheels on the bee, they are hubcaps. Look closely at the pics in the link ive displayed, doesnt even have brake callipers. So whatever wheels they put on him....i hope are actually real wheels this time. Only thing Camaro about that car is the fiberglass body haha. I was hoping they would use the real deal in TF2. http://www.thechevroletcamaro.com/transformers.htm

I like the fat tires look. To me the fat tire with raised white letters is the ultimate look for a muscle car not those oversized 20 inch "bling" rims with only half an inch of rubber on it. Looks like the car has wagon wheels. They can do that all they want to their Altimas, civic,....etc not to a Camaro.
Anyway everyone is entitled to their opinion about what looks good.

What do you think of Chip Foose's designs? I know he uses around 20's give or take a few inches. Still not your bag? To me he has truly redefined what modern day muscle should look like. Any who thats not what this thread is about, yes the new rims on bumblebee look to blingy but at least there real haha.

I'm sticking with the vert rims. That's what they remind me of.

go look at post number 38 on the official transformers thread. I was so right about them not being vert wheels, and i will say that they do look okay..... but still like the others better.

I 'd have to see it parked, but from what you can tell, they look good, but I love the hood scoop.

That's the car they showed all last year at the International Auto show....he's right they are fake wheels and fake cross drilled rotors. You should see the car in person....it's got paint ships all over it, and looks like a kit car. I wonder why they even showed the car.

shhhhh!!!! Don't say that too loud or you'd better get your fire suit on!

That's BumbleBee...an all original....basically a rolling bank vault.

BTW, those wheels look like the wheels on the vert.

Uhhhh. is it just me or are the wheels... Clear... As in you can see through them?!

Look how the wheel spoke magnifies the brake rotor behind it...

I'm thinking they did this for a CGI special effect to be added later???

Nope...not my bag.
I love his car designes but i think its ruined by the wheels and tires.

but to continue with the theme of this thread......After seeing the latest pics of the rims in motion. They kinda look like some rims that are offered on the new Mustang gt (Which is better than the blingy crap) but i still dont like low profile.

well when wheels are in motion you can generally see what appears to be behind it. my guess is it's just how they took the pic more then anything.

Anyone notice that the side-view mirrors are concept-like and non-production? The headlights are the same as the modded Pontiac in the first movie. Add to that the fact that the rotors seem to be false again...
And the conclusion is that this is the same car from the first movie. It has simply been modified cosmetically. I wouldn't see this as any bit an example of the SS model to be produced in the future. The lines of the foglamp inlets do not flow with the rest of the front end. I'm not saying that GM shouldn't consider making the 5th gen more edgy, because the 2010 Mustang seems to have a more edgy design. I just don't think this is anything but a modded GTO.
