This happened to mine when it was really cold...I just twisted the nob back and forth a few time very fast and it started to work again....Seems that the electronics don't do well when it's very cold out.

Had that problem this morning on my new '14. None of the vent options would change, and no matter what the fan speed was set to, it would not come on and just showed the "fan off" symbol in the mylink screen... I ended up putting the car into neutral while driving down the road, turning the car off (key all the way off), then restarting the car, and everything started to work.

I've noticed quite a few "little issues" like this on this new car that individually aren't too big of a concern, but as the list of "little problems" continues to grow, it's starting to bother me.

Mine just did it again last night... Trying to adjust the fan speed, wouldn't do anything... For some reason, changing which vent setting I was set to started the fan going... Really weird... Kind of frustrating.

I figured it would happen eventually... It's stuck on, w/ the AC on, and will not respond to anything. Usually if I push buttons, or turn the ign. off and restart the car it will fix itself. On my way home tonight, I start the car, stuck on Medium fan speed with the AC on, and won't shut off, change fan speeds, temps, vents etc. I messed with it for a good 20-30 minutes in my driveway, and still stuck with the AC on.

At one point, I THOUGHT I could smell something melting/see smoke/something getting hot from under the hood, but I'm not 100% sure, as several minutes after initially thinking I noticed this problem, I heard one of the neighbors down the road setting off fireworks, so... Not sure.

As I left it, I had disconnected the positive battery cable in the trunk, and I'll reconnect it in the morning and see if it's back to normal.

This happened on mine as well. Just once, a couple weeks ago, on the way to the store. When I started it after leaving the store all was well. Haven't had the issue again. We'll see....

Reconnected the battery cable this morning and it's fine again... This is the 4th time it's happened, but usually an easy fix. Not so much this time. The problem with taking it to the dealer is that they can never duplicate the problem.

Wonky electronics, yesterday my door open chime would not stop dinging no matter what I did.
Got out of the car and locked it, still dinging.
Got in, closed the door and started it back up, it went through the start up chimes, then stopped.
Really Weird.
