Matt,
I have a 2014 SS 1LE, if I install Flow Master American Thunders do I have to do a fuse pull so that the stock muffler flaps do not open and close?

Generally, people will pull the fuse on the factory system to allow it to remain open all of the time. The Flowmaster American Thunder kit is an entire Cat-back system. Installing this Flowmaster system will disable the active dual mode function. We provide plugs to cap off the stock actuator lines. There is no need to pull any fuses.

I'm a fan of the Force II. No drone with longtubes and cat-delete pipes.

I personally wouldn't recommend the American Thunder kit for the L99 because this kit is fairly aggressive and would not be the ideal setup "sound-wise" for an engine with AFM.

Love that sound! I just don't want to give up the NPP on my car because I've got the M2W switch and being able to quiet it down (have LTs w/cats already) when taking long drives with my wife.

It is hard to argue a case against the ability to go from mild to wild. However, I will say that once you have that signature Flowmaster sound, why would you want to turn it off?

I have the American Thunder Kit with ARH long tubes with high flow cats and my car sounds like a beast! I did notice that the system was kind of quite for the first month or so and then i woke up. I love it.
