Yes, that is part of it... it helps keep intake temps down (remember forced induction ends up heating up the air). The other important job it does, is raise the your effective octane level.... it basically makes it like you are running around 109 octane!

Oh, and to give you and idea... when i'm spraying on the Flex, after i pull in the pits after making a pass, my aluminum intake manifold is actually COLD to the touch! It's crazy how well it works to lower the temps!

Meth kits are relatively cheap. My problem would be finding and paying a new local tuner willing to tune it.

How much boost are you running on? Any suggestions on what to do and what not to do as well? 14 days until I get this kit installed, so I am pretty anxious

Not enough! She's been a guinea pig too often.

Seriously, I can't remember the last time I looked at the odometer. I think I've put about 12K miles since we put the turbos on.

My brother still isn't convinced that this kit will beat his 2013 5.0 GT. How badly would you beat him? His car is bone stock.

His car puts down more pwer at the wheels than a 5.0 makes at the crank. It wouldn't be close if both are equally driven.

Nice, can't go wrong with a daily turbo 6! As another testament to others on FI reliablility, I've put 60k miles my the remote turb kit since 2011 with 30k of them in 2011 alone! I'm at 85k total but I'm a bit hesitant to hit the 100k mark!

Are the crank hp figures understated for the 5.0 similarly to various other mustang models? If so, could be a race due to power to weight!

Finally made it.

Time to start being proactive and looking into fluid changes. The dealer quoted me $250 for a rear diff fluid change and $150 for the tranny and I think that was the high pressure flush, which I don't want to do. I told him to go pound sand so it looks like I'll be dropping the pan This fall.
