Would there be a way to modify your z/28 splitter to fit the 14 v6? If so us 14 v6 guys would really be drooling. Speaking for myself I'd pop on it right away!

Trust me when I say this, your better off getting a new bumper for the SS model and just getting it repainted. It isnt that hard to switch them out. This is coming from a guy that we started tinkering three years ago, I didn't know squat about cars. As of current, we have dissemble our car to the last bolt. I wish I could give you a different answer. The thing is mold making is very expensive and not financial feasible to make all kinds of variation.

BTW, we learn everyday from the good folks on here, so always got gve props for all the help we've gotten.

Gotcha anyone know how much an ss front bumper would go for and if they are a available painted from gm? That would give me an excuse to buy the ss good as well bc I think the v6 hood lines wouldn't match up

Don't quote me but if I not mistaken, it was in the $300 range. We get our stuff from Jarred at Lake Side in Lake Elsinore 20 over cost.

Yeah I got a quote from Maureen for the 14 ss front bumper and hood painted and shipped it's around 1,500 which isn't bad I'd still need the hood insert though but it doesn't seem like a bad deal if I can run the z/28 aero parts after that!

I wouldn't get the stuff already painted as we had to return a hood and roof panel because they were both damage during shipping. Seems crazy but they are shipped in a box without any additional padding, so they just kinda bounce around. Its better to get them unpainted from your local dealer and if damaged, you can always return them. When your ready hit me and I will see if I can hook you up.

Here a rendering of G5.R as it will appear at SEMA representing the community.
