there are videos on youtube of STS turbo installations. If you watch one I doubt there will be much confusion.

Why aren't the turbos in the engine bay? It loos like they're by the diff. This is going to have mad lag because it's going to have to pressurize a longer tube, plus the exhaust gasses have more force when being push out of the block. Efficiency is lost by having them at the exhaust tips...

So it pulls air through faster rather than pushing?

You better tell that to Lingenfelter, a bunch of other tuners, all those who make turbo diesel engines, a whole slew of racers and some auto manufactures.

Also, women should not vote, green is a bad color and doctors are for sissies.(sarcasm)

Why no turbos for V8s? Ever hear of a little car called the Veyron with 4 turbos on 16 cylinders? Ever hear of the 612HP AMG V-12 Biturbo they put in Mercedes most expensive cars?

2 extra cylinders in a V8 does not change the laws of physics. Up the intake PSI and you get more power. Yes, the details matter too, but done right, a twin turbo V8 makes as much sense as a V6.

you meaning towards a quad turbo setup? with two right off the manifolds plus a rear mount setup? not really worth it because you can just go with a larger turbo under the hood or in the back instead of going thru the hassle of fabbing up a quad setup.

a turbo pulls air in and compresses it and pushes it to the engine.

looks like I need to add a new tech writeup....
