Catch can?
Didn't see a thread on this.
Was curious if the M6 cars need a oil catch can like GM manual cars in the past did. Anybody running one right now? I haven't traced out the PVC yet but I have a feeling it still sits in place that will let oil vapor into the intake.

I'm not gonna rewrite it all here... but read THIS thread. It's long, but you'll understand things a lot better. Most people install cans/breathers wrong. |

Most of the time with a non-FI engine you do not need a can for oil.

I had one on my Goat and my wifes Charger and they both filled about 1/2 way between oil changes. Neither car is F/I.
I'll read the other thread tonight. Does anyone sell them for the Camaro or is it a matter of adapting a existing product?

ok i've seen these but have never used one
so do these basically help prevent oil from getting sucked back in resulting in a better burn, better emissions, cooler intake, less wear on the cats, less build up on valves, and not clogging up vacuum hoses. is this it or am i missing something or completely wrong? |
