Fuses pulled. We'll see what happens in the morning.

How come you don't do your runs in Sport mode?

Theirs no difference . Both start in first gear if you punch it anyway. Round track racing is what sport mode is for. I don't see any advantage.

I know you guys are happy with this solution, however you guys should not have to be pulling fuses to make your Camaro's faster. GM should reprogram the chip so it works properly no matter what fuel is used..

Well, pulling the fuses did nothing for me. I had suspected that my car wasn't really slow anyway. I am happy for those that are getting the power they thought they should be getting! L99's represent!

Did I miss something or did I remember the A6 started in second unless you manually put it in first using the paddle shifters?

Starts in Second in theory in D. Starts in First if using S. Now I am not sure about D but alot of folks say that is the way it is. S is alot better to drive in since the shifts are sportier and if you need to down shift quickly you are already there and just hit the paddle.

engine bay, fuse box. check your owners manual page 9-42 to find the specific fuse locations.

how long did you leave them pulled for? jw. and you might not have had anything going wrong with yours either.

It was overnight. I suspected nothing was wrong with my car, just wanted to make sure. Did a nice pull this morning getting on the highway. God I love the roar of open headers at WOT!

In Sport mode it ALWAYS starts out in 1st whether you use paddles or not. (I prefer not using them) Not sure I follow PQs method of romping on it in drive and expecting it to start out in 1st gear..

I'm going to do the same and pull fuses but will expect the same results as you... pretty sure it has to be broke before you can fix it...

Open headers at WOT...

I agree but GM need's to understand that ignoring things isn't acceptable with this group so unless they want to look bad as a result of customers finding solutions without their help, they should step it up a notch.

Agreed.

And keep in mind that GM is working with PQ and has asked that he not mess with the car anymore in case it deletes historical data that may be valuable to them.

Have you guys seen this post? http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39040 I wonder if the updates would cure the need to use this fuse fix.

From that post it doesn't look like it. They updated it and then told him to go home and pull the fuses... But it is an independent post that confirms the fuse pull...

Not that it needed confirming...
