I just got one from Amazon with v1.19 on it.
The unit is working great. I mainly got it to have a switch for my exhaust. I do have one issue. My Nav works but if I try to program a route to a destination, the nav says "please click the onstar button and cancel the route". Tried that and it didn't fix the issue. I removed the Dashlogic and the nav works perfect. I'll contact them on Monday.

This is one of the main things people were complaining about. It seems everyone with nav would have to unplug the dashlogic to get it to work again. My car does not have nav so it is not a problem for me. You might go back thru this thread and see what was done if anything to correct this before you call them. It might save you a call if someone figured out there was something else to do to correct this.

I just unplug mine if I want to use NAV.

Another issue is that OnStar cannot update car status with the device plugged in. Not a big deal just FYI.

Thanks for the tips.

An update to my experience, I love the features and numerous sensors we can monitor but it's really buggy. It locks up every once in a while. I'm going to hang on to it. But if I read this thread before buying it, I would have just opted a switch for the exhaust.

Yep...took mine out and it just sits on the shelf now too. was a cool idea but companies that sell un-tested/un-finished products, and then don't support it, piss me off.
Most times its because of a large number of possible variables involved and they can't possibly account for every combination...but this is a plug in to a standard OBD port where every one of them is the same.
Hate to say it, but these guys are lame.

Dashlogic + NAV....FIXED!

I was messing around with the radio on the way to San Diego today (long drive) and I think I just figured a way to have NAV work with Dashlogic.

As most of you know when you start the car up with Dashlogic it pops up the info on the DIC, HUD and radio. The radio info that Dashlogic shows seems to interfere with using NAV at the same time.

Try this:

With the car running and Dashlogic is up and running....Go to your main MyLink screen and select "Quick Info". Press that and then press the "OnStar Turn by Turn". Now you'll notice it will grey out after you press it. Then go back to you home screen and select "Now Playing". You notice the Dashlogic info is gone!

Now go back to the main screen in MyLink and select "Destination" and key in where you want to go. The NAV screen will pop up and even work on your DIC and HUD alongside the Dashlogic info.

This also allows your album art and radio info to use the full display again even if you don't use the NAV.

Enjoy.

does the firmware update fix any of the bugs that effect how it works in the car?.
my problem has always been, trying to the dashlogic to initialize and start up when I start my car up. I always need to unplug it and plug it back in. I do use the extension connector, and I have tried pulling fuses with no luck yet.

I would try pulling fuse F4 (page 10-46 in your manual)

Seems to work for me anytime I have issues.

I bought a used on this week, from a link I found in this thread in the members marketplace. I updated the firmware and set it up in about 5 minutes. Works perfectly for me, pretty cool.
