That's true, but my point was comparing to the ZL1, thought it would be much faster than a SS..

Stock Z with stock tires and a manual transmission is very tough to break into low 12's. Takes a lot of practice on the 60'

DA has a lot to do with what a car will run. An automatic ZL1 will run high 11.8-12.1@116-118. In negative DA. Tracks in the North East at sea level. Usually see that kind of DA in the spring and fall. Track with bad or Positive DA will run slower. Usually in the
12.2-12.4@114-116 range. Those are usually tracks located in the Middle of the country with high elevations.
