I know this is months late, but I went thru this same scenario with my dealer. My dealer was already notorious for poor customer courtesy, so you could just imagine what I went thru to get these winglets installed; A lot of phone calls to Chevy CS, a few hand written complaints, a lot of cursing. I had the car several months before realizing that the winglets were not installed, and it took two months of fighting with the dealer to get them installed. In hindsight I wish I could've stumbed onto this thread at the time of delivery. I would've loved to have seen their faces by me refusing delivery for missing winglets haha!

How difficult is it to install/remove the spring spacers? What's involved to do it safely?

Very easy. Just jack the front of the car far enough to take the weight off the springs and pull them out.

Great info, thanks for the help. I kinda figured the common sense answer was soap and water. Thanks again.

Guess you better pay attention when pulling into parking lots or your driveway for those that have runoff outlets.

Front spring spacers

Glad I found & read this thread. Didn't know anything about the front spring spacers or the side valances for the splitter. I checked mine in storage & the spacers were removed, but not with the car, so I called my salesman at the dealer & he didn't know either, but checked in the service dept. & found them in a box in the back of the shop. At least they didn't get tossed. I now have them safely stored in the console. Also the valances were installed. Plus for the dealer on this. Thanks for bringing this topic up.

This thread has been stuck...for people with dealers that haven't quite done their homework on these cars
