I'll do that for sure! I'd like to know myself. May be getting a new starter next -- factory is fine -- no issues with the one I have, but, since I'm removing the other one, may be a good time to update it.

Not much else to get really. Just time and when we decide to get the engine built. Motor mount pedestals I might also buy new just because of the power increase and new would have no stress on them yet -- 22805661 is the part number for those.

No reason to consider an upgraded version? Maybe Pfadt, BMR ? or is there a stronger oem style, Z28?

Just curious...Im hoping my stockers hold up for ride quality. Last car had Pfadt... it shook ALOT more than this 1, but had an NA cam.

Hey Don - check the thermostat fitment when you get a chance. I ordered the same SLP model number and it was too small for my housing. It's on the way back to Amazon now.

Took it out tonight, nothing like a Sunday night, no traffic, cool air, let her breath a bit! Love this LSA setup... So much fun!

I have the brand new Z/28 mounts already so those will stay, just get the pedestals for the new block...

Nice, did you notice a big difference when putting in the Z28s?

I may have to go that route myself.

Probably not until I race it. Only thing I've noticed so far is the engine moved less during dyno pulls...

Got my improved racing oil pan baffle, ls3 dip stick and tube, harmonic balancer (didn't have the anti rotation washer -- ordered that). Waiting on the other parts to get here. Slowly building up what I'll need for the new engine...

FedEx and UPS have a new warehouse -- my house! More stuff coming in.

I got my Mishimoto Oil Cooler, but the Banjo fittings are too small for the filter extension housing -- Mishimoto is working on getting us 'early' adopters the fix... 2 new fitting will take care of it...

Nice kit though! I hope to have the fitting soon so I can install on Saturday... We'll see...

Mishimoto Oil Cooler!

Well, I'm waiting for the Banjo fittings from Mishimoto, I decided to cover the lines with a fire sleeve . I purchased 4 of these to cover the lines:

https://www.amazon.com/010474-I-D-Fi.../dp/B001HYRPC4

This will cover the ss lines and only leave about a foot left over. These include the self vulcanizing silicone tape -- pull it like the devil and wrap it!

I used the tape to seal the ends to the fitting as well as the 'joint' where I had to mate the sleeves together (let it sit 24 hours to vulcanize and it will be good to go!):

The hose with all '90s' takes a small effort to get the fire sleeve on it. Don't forget to blow out the hose afterwards!

Once I get the fittings, I'll get the cooler on!

Some folks may only want to cover the 'hot' areas, and 1 kit may do that for them. Me, I like to be certain ;o)

Banjo fittings finally came in! Tested the fittings and good to go...

Now, just finding the time to do the install. Weekend is looking like bad weather....
