Not sure if i have missed it, but anyone done the Silver stripes with the gray/blk seats? Wondering if the stripes compliment the color of the seats or are the shades clashing?

thanks

It is all personal preference. I got the silver, thought it complimented the wheels nicely and was not as over powering as the white seems to be to me.
Depending on the light it almost looks white sometimes. I have gotten lots of positive comments on my silver.

I went with the black, I like it a lot. Thought about the two tone gray but decide the all black with those cool gray bands that wrap around the dash onto the doors would look good and I was right.

Trunk

For those of you who have not looked under the trunk here is what I found there. I ordered the Camaro Carpet for the trunk and floor mats too here:
http://www.carid.com/lloyd-ultimats-floor-mats/
FYI, spare tire is an option.

i have been on the fence for a long time...it will be a second car for me as i paid off my other car earlier in the year. I have been waiting for a Z or an SS/RS but always hoped they would offer an optional engine. I am finding it hard to fight the temptation to go buy a first year car. I would have thought with 3 years of planning some of the issues i see would have been thought of and resolved prior to release.

I'll have mine in a few weeks. I'm not sure if it will have the stripes from the factory. I placed my order just before they changed to factory installation, so I initially ordered without stripes because I figured that would let me decide later (and I didn't trust dealer installation). Once they changed to factory installation, I called the dealer to have them added to the order, but since I went to 2000 the next day, they weren't sure if they could get it changed, and the new codes weren't working yet. Anyway, they still can't seem to confirm if they got them added. If not, I will probably have them painted on.
I chose the gray interior partly because it regularly gets to 110F in the summer where I live and black just gets too hot since I don't have a covered place to park. Plus, I figured the gray interior would go well with the silver stripes which are presumably the same color as the interior silver door panels. I'm assuming that that color complements the gray leather and carpet.
I still have not seen ABM in person, I have not seen the gray leather in person, and I have not seen the silver stripes in person. But, what the heck; what could go wrong?
Cheers!

I had only seen ABM in cloudy/rainy conditions and had never seen the grey leather in person before mine came in. I've been nothing but pleased ever since.

I had always envisioned glossy black striping, though.

As soon as I get my dog vet bills covered, I'm going to be ordering my ABL RS. My problem comes from this thread. Do I go with no stripes, black stripes, white stripes, or Silver stripes. Do I paint them on, or do I go with vinyle. Then there is also the after market stripes that go around the nose. I'm so confused.......

Yea, living in Florida myself I can realate to that. That is why I went with the tinted window and I think they look great and the do a good job of keeping it cooler too. I park under a car port so that helps too.

No, they are painted, look polished, but they are what comes with the RS package standard. Polished are $140 so I went with these and they look great.

I agree, everyone has been awed by the color and silver rally stripes for sure.
I got mine in New Smyrna. Titusville told me it would take 6 months to order one and really did not seem to interested in my business. I went North 20 miles and got great service and had the car in less than 3 months. I also got MSRP ...not DSRP.... which is inflated.

I have to agree, the silver stripes look great. I can't believe how much they look like white in some of your pictures. I like...........

IndPwr, did you lower your car? How much lower did you go? Did you use Eibach springs?

After seeing all the pics on here I'm glad I made the choice of Silver Stripes instead of white. White looks good but the color contrast between the blue and silver is great.
