Did I get the jest of it, or do I need to go back and read page 3 or something?
Then you missed all the posts in between about the ZL1 and GT500 contradicting each other.

crap, so I do need to go back and read page 3.

Well screw all you, I'm building a Camaro GT900 SSS and it's 800 hp stock, with about 700 lb of tq. I have not had chance to dyno it yet, but when Car and Driver get ahold of what I'm building, they will just do article after article about how bad it beats the SS and the GT500. I will even include a picture of Jesus climbing into the car.

Phew, now that is put to rest. What's next onour topic of dream vs dream. Kia Sportwagon beats Camry GT-K minivan.

based the handling charactistics and my driving skills in NFS. There are no signs in the corners, and I put it through some trees on the Timberland Hill Climb. So the Magnetic Ride Control needs some tweaks, but we are so close. More to come on the Camaro GT900 SSS.

And for those that keep PM'ing me asking if the GT900 SSS will have navigation, the answer is yes, but the street names and voice is Russian.

Yes, but he didn't ask if pushrod was newer than OHC. He asked if the current LS pushrod motors are new technology in relation to the gt500's modular. Variable valve timing, plasma wire-arc, etc. The 5.4 and now 5.8 are packed full of tech.

Now if Ford would only pack their chassis, suspension and T I R E W I D T H for the Mustang with that level of Tech and we'd all go to sleep blissfully tonight. Erik

I need something that can get grip as this car goes from 0-80 in 2.8 seconds. It's running the 1/4 in 9.2. That is an actuall time based on what we think it will probably do, based on future blueprints of the engine seen at Sema this coming year. The Camaro GT900 SSS is one bad motha. Foose is trying to get a good drawing of it, but he's having a hard time with a car that fast.

I was thinking of building a car too.

One with 6'' Pistions, Forged Brass Rods, Plastic Intake Manifold, 4 Turbonators, a few SS badges, 555/20/22 tires, 14.10 gears, 3 piece driveshaft, 12 speed manual, 130MM Twin Turbo with a Whipple running @ 42 PSI each. It should do 0-60 in -.008 seconds, and top out at 920 MPH.

GT500 what?
