it wasn't a cheap shot... the same group here who knows the potential of the 3.5 Ecoboost with a tune are like the L99 group, but because it's a Camaro, nobody says anything.. im just pointing out the hypocrisy of people when the arguments are similar..

I said with a tune. If a crew cab f150 can do mid 13s or better, and if a Flex that weighs 5,000 lbs with a tuned ecoboost can do 12s (which has been done more than once) then this truck is capable of low 13s or high 12s.

In stock form I'd expect low to mid 14s.
I think your forgetting the biggest factor which is 4wd. This truck will not be as fast without some sticky rubber out back to take advantage if the power.

You can get the tremor in 4wd

it was you calling me out by reference to the post. It is a GM Camaro site BTW and if they are arguing about the L99 and it butthurts you I would move on.

here is a site where they give a crap about fords http://www.ford.com sites that begin with GM brand names typically will discuss them but not fanboy them so get over it.

YES, 4wd boosted launches FTW!

Just ask those diesel guys, SC'd Tundra's or Parish/ new owner of the blue RCSB AWD Silverado with a turbo'd 6.0L about AWD on a boosted rig. Their ability to hold back all that torque and horsepower from spooling the turbos at the line, then releasing the brakes and going WOT without any wheel spin or hopping, just consistent drama free passes. I almost feels like a religious experience the first time you do it especially when modded and passengers grasping them selfs and giving a crazy look of fun, fear and excitement on their face. 4 wheel traction is why so many cars use AWD systems despite the added weight. All right its too late to be typing.

All the manufacturers do it, but why? I can understand some high end options only being available on the "top" trims but if why can't I get leather seats without getting a higher trim and an option package
You can option a new Silverado/Sierra well into the $40k bracket and still not have leather seats in it.

well, GM could always put an LT1 in an RCSB. but they won't. because they're lame that way.

Yeah another ford with a turbo - yeah Fords with turbos rules the world yeah yeah yeah . they need to thank the people over at Oldsmobile for doing their work for them. Olds took them from aircraft and put them on the highway not Ford.

Only thing eco about a Ford, is a turd is biodegradable.

Yeah for over 80k there's nothing impressive about that truck. Some suspension bolt ons, only 410ish Hp, basic driveline and interior for what a few more mpg's? I would rather have a 5.0 with a blower, full suspension and better interior for much less.
