Btw way generally bothered by the Fiat Chrysler add with Bob Dylan. Didn't they bother to take time to find out the only U.S. Made watch is from Detroit? Granted a Swiss movement. Also Detroit has a lot of great local brews. Does anyone even associate Germany with their favorite beer?

I guess all we have left to wait for is the trip back to the 'ring, the start of production of the new Z/28, the first deliveries, the first mag comparos, the first....aww you know the rest.

If you and I can imagine it there is someone smarter working to bring that vision to reality. That smart person is also imagining something and there is an even smarter person working to make that a reality.

Number 3's Pyramid of intellect. Who is at the top...........and what are they imagining?

Notice the cutout bowtie? Guess they needed the extra air for cooling... not to mention the 16 grams of weight it saves.

I am so afraid this may be the last of a breed. I have high hopes the next gen can capture this essence but I'm not sure how. GM now has two potential powertrains to go with, but I would guess under current guise the SS would be the LT1 at 450/460 HP. The next jump up would be the LT4 at 630+ HP. So is that the ZL1 or the Z/28? There are 3 clear model choices with 3 VERY distinct engine options. At least what appears to be the near future, there will be only 2. So does the NG Z/28 end up being the 1LE of the current generation? We shall see.

I believe the Z28 will return as the 1LE replacement of the next gen. If the LSA was not acceptable this time around, I doubt the LT4 would be acceptable next time.
