That is a shame.
The dude in the Camaro, his insurance "should" cover the loss.
His insurance company will go after the kid's parent's insurance company and their insurance will go SKY HIGH!! WHICH IT SHOULD!!
After all that, I would hire an AWESOME lawyer and have him write a nice little letter knowing they are going to court or "settle" outside of court for a price!!
Sorry about the Camaro. That is horrible.

very sad! I came home from burying one of my best friends back in 1987 to find my Dads brand new truck folded up like that sitting in front of their house, no note, but Gladys Cravits across the street saw the whole thing lucky for him

I'm very sorry to see that happen to anyone's new car. I can't help but notice though that the the passenger compartment looks to have performed spectacularly under one hell of a hit. It's nice to know that with all the performance and good looks that GM seems to have engineered in just as much safety too.
